Valdonia is a fantasy world built as an environment in which to create my Dungeons & Dragons adventures. The goal is to develop a world with history and structure which can guide my storytelling toward consistency and logical coherence. Valdonia is being built gradually over time as new features are required for an adventure or when some interesting idea strikes me.
Although the entire world of Valdonia is defined from a geographic context, only two countries, the Kingdom of Minar and the Protectorate of Varbold, have been developed with any level of detail. These two countries, Minar in particular, are the location of the adventures I’ve written thus far.
This site is a presentation of the geography, politics, and lore of Valdonia primarily as a reference for myself, and any other DMs and players who might like to play my adventures. I would be thrilled if any part of Valdonia appeals to your sense of adventure and inspires you to create your own stories in its lands. I hope you enjoy what you find here.
